Check in starts at 2:00 pm. and the registration at the 20th floor starts at 3 pm. If you arrive before 3 pm and has a room reservation from the committee then proceed to the front desk for check in. PLEASE TAKE NOTE THAT THE ROOM ASSIGNMENT IS NOW 2 PERSONS PER ROOM. Go ahead and select your partner and inform the front desk about your choices. They were provided by the committee the list with room reservations already. That list should show if you're paid or not. If there is a problem please proceed to the 20th floor where the registration is located. Once checked in then you can proceed to the registration area at the 20th floor.
Go ahead and proceed to the 20th floor where the Executive Lounge is and the registration is going on. The committee will give you instructions from there. Some information are shown below.
Make sure you are paid first so they can issue you the T-Shirt and the stubs for the Entrance to the Hall Ticket, Picapica Ticket, Photo Booth Usage, Raffle Ticket, and Buffet Ticket (5 tickets total). Please don't loose your tickets. The hotel charges will be based on it. For the boys, a separate ticket will be handed only to those who are drinking beer and we might order whiskey for those wants to drink it. For the ladies, a bottle of wine will be ordered depending on how many of you would like to have a glass of wine.
Outside the function hall (hotel name is Executive Lounge) is where the photo booth and the registration tables are located. Once you're issued with the tickets, you can either do the photo booth or you may enter the hall using your tickets to access the Picapica room for your snacks. Unfortunately, because of the setup of the hall, they cannot turn on the air-condition up until 5:00 PM or so. Our contract for the use of the hall starts at 6 pm. But the Picapica room air-conditioning will be turned on at 3 pm. Again the Picapica room is inside the hall. Sorry for the inconvenience. You may also hang out at the hotel lobby while waiting for the program to start. PLEASE TAKE NOTE THAT OUR GUEST SPEAKER IS OUR CLASSMATE GOVERNOR RAUL MABANGLO OF DAVAO DE ORO AND HIS TIME MIGHT BE LIMITED. So please be at the function hall before 6 pm so once the hall is ready for use, we can seat you right away so we can start the program on time. We are designing the program so we can fit it with the governor's schedule.
If you did not preregister, your name may or may not be on the registration list. We will still take you on a first come first serve basis. The function hall contract is only 80 pax. We are currently expecting a maximum of 75 people. So we have about 5 pax or less to accommodate beyond the registration list. After that, we may have to refuse your entry to the reunion. So sorry about that but we are obligated by the hotel contract.
For those who have room reservations at the hotel, your breakfast is included for that morning. If you don't have a room reservation, then you will have to pay the breakfast buffet hotel rate if you wish to join us. We are not sure yet if we'll have a business meeting since we don't have a hall for that day. But we're allowed to have a discussion during breakfast if necessary. There was a sign-up sheet for a field trip to Hacienda Torrentira in Tugbok Davao City for those who wanted to stay longer with the group. We're hoping to leave at 10 am or so. This trip is free thanks to our sponsors. However, the sign up will end Friday morning the 12th of September. Beyond that, we can no longer accept any participation since the farm will prepare food only for the headcount that Friday morning. This trip at the farm will end at 4 pm (5 hours from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm). After which we will drive back to the hotel and adjourn for this reunion.
